Undergraduate Student
Elsie is a sophomore at Columbia University studying biomedical engineering. Her primary interests include genetics, cancer nanomedicine, and public health. Last summer, Elsie received the Ng Teng Fong Internship Fund to assist in the Nanotherapeutics and Stem Cell Engineering Lab. In addition to working in lab, Elsie is a part of the Society of Women Engineers, the Coalition Against Sexual Violence, and Columbia Bioethics Society. Before attending Columbia, she was a boarding student at Interlochen Arts Academy with a major in Ballet.
